Denver Employment Alliance
This association of nonprofit organizations serves the unemployed and underemployed by providing solutions through case management, counseling, training, services and support. Through advocacy with the State of Colorado and the City of Denver, the Denver Employment Alliance pursues actions that will create economic sustainability and upward mobility for the entire community. The members of the Denver Employment Alliance serves the needs of families undergoing hardship, single parents, refugees, recently released, immigrants, physically and mentally disabled, and those with insufficient education. Bringing hope and opportunity to everyone is the goal of the Denver Employment Alliance.
The Division of Workforce Development (DWD)
The DWD is a full service employment and training agency meeting the recruiting and training needs of businesses, job seekers and youth throughout the metro area. DWD has two customer-focused units: the Business & Community Partnerships unit and the Job Seeker Services unit. DWD’s Business & Community Partnerships unit is primarily designed to assist Denver businesses with finding the right applicant for all available positions. DWD’s Job Seeker Services unit assists job seekers in finding sustainable employment in the Denver metro region.
