Fort Worth is home to a number of assistance programs including:

Stay in School Initiative
In 2002, Fort Worth launched a community-wide Stay-in-School Initiative, a program designed to encourage all students to graduate from high school as well as bring together educators, parents, academicians, businesses, community leaders, and volunteers in support of at risk students. The goal of the Stay-In-School Initiative is to encourage all students to successfully complete the requirements for graduation from high school. The Stay-In-School Initiative draws on the diverse resources of the community to bring together educators, parents, academicians, businesses, community leaders and volunteers in support of mentoring programs tailored to the individual needs of at-risk students. It is a collaborative partnership of the Fort Worth Chamber, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber, the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber and the Fort Worth ISD, with outspoken support of the Mayor and the Fort Worth Police Chief.
