"Leadership for Tomorrow"

The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce encourages community participation in metropolitan leadership opportunities through its nine-month Leadership Fayetteville course designed to train citizens on how to become future community leaders. Begun in 1989, this popular high profile class trains an average of 20 to 25 students drawn from the business community and the public every year on issues including healthcare, law enforcement, social services, government and more.

Leaders at City Hall are collaborating to create the comprehensive “Fayetteville Strategic Plan 2003 through 2008.” This significant team effort will ultimately result in a visionary plan outlining city goals and agendas for the next several years.
