Richmond Public Schools this year celebrated record advancements in its student achievement testing scores, resulting in significantly increased school accreditations.  A number of community-based partnerships have turned student learning skills around to reach new highs.  In that regard, the Honorable Rudolph C. McCollum, Jr. has created a new innovation called Blue Ribbon Committee on School Excellence. This committee is comprised of corporate representatives, school officials, representatives from the faith community, and others who work together to make Richmond Public Schools a premier school system in record time.
