Environmental stewardship is recognized as a responsibility of Tulsa's public and private sectors and citizenry in order to achieve and maintain a high quality of life. Tulsa has been forward thinking in addressing a variety of environmental challenges and has created some of the nation's model programs particularly in stormwater management and air and water quality.
